Advanced Aromatics is the only manufacturer in North America to make more than one grade of high-quality, petroleum-derived naphthalene.

We make three grades – 78°C Naphthalene, 79°C Naphthalene, 80°C Naphthalene – as well as derivatives Tetrahydronaphthalene and Decahydronaphthalene, and a growing line of unique aromatic solvents called Advasol®. In the last 10 years, we’ve more than doubled output capabilities at our Baytown, Texas Plant. And we’re committed to producing as much product as can be put to good use.

In the world of chemical manufacturing, Advanced Aromatics remains relatively entrepreneurial – a sizeable advantage for our customers. With fewer than 100 employees, we operate a 16-acre plant 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We produce more than 200 million pounds of product annually which we deliver via barges, rail cars, tank trucks, and drums. At Advanced Aromatics, we’re large enough to have the financial stability to provide the products our customers want. Yet we’re small enough to work with customers, to respond quickly and efficiently, and to adapt our product line to meet customer specifications.
