At Advanced Aromatics, we are committed to personal and process safety, full environmental compliance, and excellent community relations. We have industry-leading safety performance, with an excellent record in reducing emissions and minimizing the threat of environmental impacts from our operations.  On May 6th, 2011 the facility has worked 9 years without a lost time injury resulting in days away, restricted or transferred incident (DART). We are recognized by OSHA as a “SHARP” site for our sound safety processes and performance. We use several Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) programs such as the Compliance Commitment (C2) Program, and the Pollution Prevention (P2) Program to help ensure regulatory compliance. We hold memberships in the International Tar Association, CIMA, NPRA, and the local manufacturers association. We serve on local advisory and safety boards, and serve as an active member of the Baytown Community Advisory Panel. Most importantly, the standards we have set for ourselves are among the most stringent in the industry.
